For over thirty years...

The Galva Arts Council has been dedicated to bringing people together to promote and participate in the arts. A network of volunteers bring a passion for sharing talents with the local community and sponsoring events.

The Arts Council Center, located at 128 Exchange Street, provides the people of Galva, IL and surrounding communities a place to enjoy a variety of visual and performing arts. The Center is home to many activities throughout the year: monthly Coffeehouses, seasonal luncheons, arts & crafts workshops, yoga classes and more.

John Sloan Memorial Concert & Art Jam

Wiley Park, Galva IL

Celebrate Independence Day a day early with us, with the John Sloan Memorial Concert on July 3rd, at 6pm on the stage in Wiley Park. Main performer will be Brad Shryack Guitar, with special appearance by Patrick Sloan, followed by an open mic. While you're enjoying the music, step on over to Art Jam on the basketball black top in the park, and paint a rectangle for $5! Painting will be from 6-8pm, with the last purchase available at 7:45pm.

 

3rd Annual Olof Krans Arts Festival

August 26th 10am-2pm

Veterans Memorial Park, Galva IL

Mark your calendars: The third annual Olof Krans Arts Festival will be held from 10am-2pm on Saturday, August 26th in Veterans Park. Come to downtown Galva and join us for a kids' craft, music from John Heasley, a youth art show, and a variety of arts and goods vendors! Admission is free.
